Ab Workouts: Working For That Six Pack

There is probably no part of the body that more individuals want to work out and look good than the abs. A slim flat stomach for the gals, and the six pack abs have almost become a symbol of fitness or being “good looking” for the guys. Good ab workouts aren’t hard to find, but different ab workouts are better suited for different individuals. It can’t be hard to know what specific needs your abs have at that moment.
Not every person’s road to a great six pack set of abs is going to look the same. Depending on what type of ab workouts you have done before, the exercises and styles of ab exercises you need to take your stomach muscles to the next level could be way different from what someone else needs. Having a variety of quality ab workouts is also important because different exercises affect the muscles in different ways. In the same reason that you can’t keep building bulky muscle by using the exact same workout over and over again, you should vary the exercises, reps, and intensity of any ab workouts that you are using to sculpt your physique.
The hardest part with ab workouts is to stay committed. First of all, you need to understand that if you have a big beer gut, you should still do ab exercises, but that before you ever get anywhere close to a six pack, you will have to lose some of that body fat covering up the ab muscles.
There are many different approaches you can take to getting better abs. If you enjoy going to the gym, there are a variety of cable machines that help you work your ab muscles through a wide array of angles. There are many other non cable weight machines that also are designed to allow you to concentrate the abs from several different angles, allowing you to fully work out your abs in the same way doing various floor exercises would.
If you prefer to avoid the gym, then the best way to work out at home could be by looking up pilates. Pilates has been on fire recently, and this allows for a number of basic ab workouts that normal ab movements can’t come close to replicating. The nice thing about Pilates is that the movements are easy to earn and the exercises are easy to do from a technical stand point, while causing absolutely amazing results. Pilates are also easy to do from home, allowing you to sculpt out a great six pack while keeping away from prying eyes.
These are some of the best ways to start the types of ab workouts that will give you quick results and sculpt out the figure that you’ve been aiming for. The abs can be the hardest to stick with since it takes so much work and the results can take the longest to show. Stick with the great and effective ab workouts, however, and once you see the results you’ll be happy you did.

3 Six Pack Ab Myths and Lies Finally Revealed

Have you ever wondered why it’s so hard for most people to get six pack abs? You see all these commercials on TV for ab gadgets that promise you six pack abs very quickly. They’re all B.S. There is a very slim chance that any of the models demonstrating those ab workouts ever got their body by using those products.

So let’s reveal some myths that are commonly associated with getting six pack abs and ab workouts.

Myth: Doing only crunches and sit ups and other various ab workouts will get you ripped abs. Truth: This is just not true. It takes a full body workout, not just ab workouts, to burn enough fat to reveal your abs. It’s possible to have rock hard abs that are just covered in fat.

Myth: It doesn’t matter what you eat as long as you exercise enough. Truth: This is completely wrong. There are certain foods that will actually deposit more fat around your waist line, such as beer. Healthy eating habits are KEY to getting six pack abs. The good news is you can still eat good tasting foods that are healthy at the same time.

Myth: You can burn enough fat by just doing cardio exercises like jogging and running. Truth: Doing cardio exercises may be effective for short term fat loss but eventually you will hit a plateau where the workouts become ineffective. It’s important to combine cardio exercises with full body workouts and ab workouts plus healthy eating habits.

Getting six pack abs is not as hard as you think. Here are some basic steps to get you well on your way.

1. Modify your eating habits to start eating healthier. Ditch the junk food. Stay away from fast food and anything that is deep fried.

2. Start working out. It’s important to work your whole body, while throwing in some ab workouts to further strengthen your abs. Do NOT focus on just the ab workouts as this won’t burn enough fat from your body.

3. Develop a plan and stick to it. Pick the days that you’re going to workout, and then write out a plan of what you’re going to do. Be as detailed as possible for best results. Put your plan somewhere where you will see it often. Hold yourself accountable!

To sum it up, just remember to combine full body workouts, ab workouts, healthy eating while also developing your routine and then sticking to it!

Best Ab Workout for Losing Belly Fat: is There Really One?

The answer to the age-old question of “What is the best ab workout for losing stomach fat?” is…

None! Ab workouts alone don’t create enough of a metabolic response in your body to create fat loss.

I’ve met countless people who asked me what the best types of exercises and workouts are for losing stubborn belly fat in order to bring out visible six pack abs. They are searching for some “miracle abdominal workout” that could get rid of their abdominal fat in no time.

The fact is… they are dealing with the problem in the completely wrong way! The truth is that you don’t lose stomach fat by doing ab workouts.

It is a waste of time and effort if you focus on doing abdominal exercises and ab workouts in order to flatten your stomach and bring out 6-pack abs. Instead, you should be performing correct workout programs that will reduce and keep off your body fat for good.

What then are the best exercises for losing stomach fat? Full body exercises… such as various forms of squats, lunges, deadlifts, clean & presses, snatches, swings, presses and pulls, mountain climbers, sprinting, etc.

These types of full body exercises stimulate maximum metabolic response in your body and increase fat burning hormone levels, thus helping you to burn body fat in less time. In addition, a side effect of working out using mostly full body multi-joint combo exercises is that you indirectly work your entire midsection even though you are not specifically targeting the abs. Abdominal and core specific exercises should only form a small part of your workout program.

Bear in mind that nutrition is the key to losing belly fat and developing visible abs. If live on a diet of processed, high sugar and high trans fat foods, it will be impossible for you to lose belly fat no matter how hard you workout. Nutrition is without a doubt the “king of getting a six pack”.

So let’s clear this up for good…

Don’t waste time on situps, crunches, leg raises, and money on all those worthless “ab gadgets” in your efforts to develop 6-pack abs. Instead focus on high intensity full body workouts using combination multi-joint exercises all strategically combined into highly effective fat loss workouts. Combined that with a clean diet full of natural unprocessed wholesome foods and minimal trans fat, and those elusive six-pack abdominals will be yours in no time!

Check out below for more tips on losing belly fat and getting flat sexy 6-pack abs for life.

What is the Best Core Abdominal Fitness Workout for Promoting Super Sexy Six Pack Abs?

Everyday people email me to get the answer to the age-old question of “What are the best core abdominal workouts for ripping tight six pack abs?”

Unfortunately the answer that I give has not changed….and the answer is None! There is not one single ab workout that in isolation will create enough of a metabolic response in your body to promote fat loss.

You can imagine since I am a personal fitness trainer, nutritional guide and fitness professional I am always being approached by people asking what the “best types of exercises and workouts are for losing stubborn stomach fat.” Or… What are the most effective stomach workouts in order to bring out visible six pack abs?” The problem with this is that most of the time, people with excess stomach fat are looking to try to uncover their abs via some “miracle fitness program that focuses just on abs” that is going to slash the fat off their abs in no time flat.

So back to the most highly asked fitness question…What are the Best Core Fitness Workouts that Promote Six Pack Abdominals?

The thing is… they are going about the problem entirely the wrong way! The truth is that you don’t lose stomach fat or get ripped six pack abs by doing ab workouts.

When you spend your energy doing abdominal exercise after abdominal exercise, crunch after crunch with hopes of flattening your stomach and bringing out those sexy 6-pack abs; you are simply wasting your time and energy. What you should be doing is the correct workout program that will actually reduce your body fat for ever.

If I were to choose an answer as to what the best exercises are for losing belly fat, my answer would probably surprise the ’sit-up’ out of you. On the top of the list you would find exercises such as the following:

various forms of squats, lunges, deadlifts, clean & presses, snatches, swings, presses and pulls, mountain climbers, sprinting, etc.

Back when I spent hours training people on the one-on-one personal training level, I would entail much of the above mentioned moves in my clients workouts. I almost always would design fully body workouts such as listed above instead of abs exercises directly targeting the midsection.

However that’s not the final answer…The way you combine those full body exercises into a strategic workout that maximizes your metabolism is also very crucial.

Don’t get me wrong… I do recommend a certain amount of exercises that directly target the abs and core, but these are only a small fraction of the programs I design for my clients as your time is better spent focusing on the full body exercises that stimulate the greatest hormonal and metabolic changes within the body. You know what else is really cool about doing these full body workouts that I teach? In addition, to actually working the larger muscles such as your chest, back and legs; you also will have the opportunity to tone your arms (triceps, biceps, and shoulders) as well as “GUESS WHAT?” …..YOUR ABS!

Nutrition is without a doubt the “king of getting a six pack”. I have heard it said that six packs are baked in the kitchen and not in the gym.

So let’s clear this up for good…

Stop wasting so much of your time focusing on sit-ups, crunches, leg raises, and all those silly worthless “abs contraptions” in your efforts to try to develop 6-pack abs. Instead focus on high intensity full body lifts using combination multi-joint exercises all strategically combined into highly effective fat loss workouts. If you add the right fitness plan that is not necessarily geared towards losing belly fat, but geared towards building lean muscle and you also focus on eating to support your workouts and allow your muscles to grow, then you will burn belly fat!

How to Get Abs: 3 Key Factors for Six Pack Abs in No Time

If you are workout at the gym regularly you will know that one of the hardest muscles to build is your abs as fat around the abdominal area is particularly stubborn and hard to get rid of. This is even harder if you are overweight or have excess fat around your abdominal area. Obtaining solid ripped abs is always the main goal for every person who frequents the gym regularly. As with any tasks or goal, you need to have determination for you to succeed in getting those six pack abs. Without determination and a solid plan, you have already failed before you have even started. How to get abs? That is the most popular question every person wants to know. Well, the answer is actually very simple. There are 3 key areas that you need to focus on and they are: -1) Cardiovascular workouts2) Nutrition3) Abdominal weight trainingIf you are determined and follow these 3 golden rules, you will definitely see your abs. Along the way you are bound to feel that your hard work is not paying off. Keep at it and be persistent as your body needs time to adjust to your new routine and diet. A good indication that your hard work is paying off is when you feel a bit of strain around your abdominal area. You abdominal muscles feel tighter and firmer. Once you shed the fat around that area, you will be able to see your abdominal muscles.Key Area #1 – Cardiovascular WorkoutsGenerally, everyone has muscles around their abdominal area because if we did not, we would not be able to stand or walk as the abdominal muscles are closely related to our back muscles. The only reason why we cannot see them is because they are covered in a layer of fat. The best and most effective way to get rid of fat around your midsection is through cardiovascular workout sessions.Do not think that you can just do a particular exercise routine that focuses on your abdominal area to reduce fat around that area. Exercises like crunches and sit-ups are good only after you have shed the fat through a proper cardio workout. Make sure your cardio sessions include a mixture of high intensity and low intensity phases as you will burn more calories this way. A good example would be to run as fast as you can for 1 minute followed by a slow jog for 2 minutes then repeat the cycle for 20 to 30 minutes. You should incorporate 3 – 4 cardio workout sessions per week in your routine. Among the recommended cardio workouts are running, jogging, biking, the elliptical, aerobics and swimming. However, research has shown that running and jogging burns the most number of calories as it is intense and efficient. If you find running or the road or tarmac hurts your joints, try running on a dirt path or a treadmill. It is much easier on the knees and has less impact.Again, you MUST do a minimum of 3 to 4 cardiovascular workouts per week for a duration of at least 20 minutes if you want to shed fat around your abdominal area in the shortest amount of time. Do not forget to incorporate high and low intensity paces as well in your cardio sessions.Key Area #2 – NutritionAlthough it is common to feel hungry after an intensive workout at the gym, that does not give you the privilege to eat anything and everything that you desire. To shed fat effectively, you need to watch your diet and incorporate a proper cardio workout in your routine. The goal is to burn more calories that you consume each day so as to create a calorie deficit in your body. If you consume more calories than you burn, you are adding fat to your body and you will NEVER see those abs no matter how hard you train.Nutrition plays a very important factor as with proper nutrition you are able to reduce your calorie intake and hence your cardio workouts will be more effective. Instead of eating 3 square meals a day, eat five to six small but nutritious meals spaced apart about every three to four hours. That way, you will not have hunger pangs and desire to snack. If you really have to snack, go for something light like fruits or salad. These snacks are nutritious and have high fiber content.

Do not think that by skipping meals, you will lose weight faster. In fact, it is the opposite. When you skip a meal your body slows down its metabolism rate and instead burns fat less effectively as it is trying to conserve energy. Also, when you are too hungry you tend to snack and eat whatever you can get your hands on. You do not think of nutrition but rather how to recover from your hunger pangs. A good general breakdown when it comes to nutrition is to think of a pyramid whereby protein is at the base level followed by carbohydrates and finally fats. Hence your diet should consist of 50% protein, 40% carbohydrates and 10% fats. Our muscles are typically made from tightly-wound protein molecules. When we workout, our muscles will get damaged and when they recover they become stronger and bigger. That is why; you need to keep your protein intake high to help with the recovery of your muscle tissues. Most people who go on diet tend to shun away from carbohydrates but the fact is, carbs play a vital role in the body which is to provide energy needed during workouts. If you do not have this source of energy, you will lethargic and weak during your workout sessions. However, do not overload yourself with carbohydrates as they are converted to sugar it not used. Keep away from soft drinks and simple sugars like honey, cane sugar, syrups and also a lot of fruit.Water is also very important and you should drink at least a gallon of water each day. As our bodies are 80% fluid, water helps in nutrient absorption and digestion. It also aids in flushing out harmful toxins from your body. After working out, make sure you replenish your fluids by drinking lots of water or isotonic drinks. Click Here For LinksThe key to getting your six pack abs to show is by getting rid of the fat around your abdominal area. The most effective way to do this is by making sure you supply your body with the proper nutrition every 3 to 4 hours and to have a proper cardio workout session 3 to 4 times a week. Create a calorie deficit to increase the metabolism rate in your body and you are on your way to seeing that six pack of abs you have always dreamt of.Key Area #3 – Abdominal Weight TrainingPeople often have this mentality that when it comes to abdominal workouts, they do not need weights. However, when it comes to training other parts of like biceps, chest and triceps they will automatically include weights in their training. Your abdominals are just like any other muscle and therefore you need resistance to strengthen and build them. Below are some proven and effective abdominal workouts that will deliver proper stimulation to your abs.Weighted Leg RaisesLie flat on your back with your hands under your butt. Wrap your feet around a light dumbbell and raise your feet above the ground. Start with 6 inches above the ground, then raise them higher to 12 – 16 inches from the ground and then slowly go back down. Repeat the cycle for 20 reps and gradually increase the weight after you have gotten used to it.Seated Ab MachineWhen you do this, remember not to swing all the way down, just about 30 degrees down to fully contract your abdominal muscles. Hold your position for 3 seconds then go back up. Repeat the cycle for 20 reps.Cable Rope CrunchesGrab the tricep rope, kneel down and bend downwards while contracting your abs. The concept is the same as crunches, only now you are on your knees instead of lying down. Do not swing your hips, just go down until you feel your abdominal muscles contract. Hold your position for 3 seconds then go back up. Repeat the cycle for 20 reps.Weighted CrunchesTake a dumbbell and let it lie on your upper chest or below your chin while performing crunches. You will notice you will have added more resistance to your workout. Experiment with the dumbbell weight till you can do about 10 to 15 reps. Keep in mind that for an effective abdominal workout, you need to have enough resistance. No matter which exercise you perform, you must always remember the weight / resistance factor. If you do not add resistance, you will not be able to increase the amount of lean muscle tissue in your abdominal area. Do not overwork your muscles; twice a week is sufficient for maximum results. The combination of cardiovascular workout, proper nutrition and weight training will guarantee you a six-pack abs in no time. You only need the determination and persistence to achieve it.

Eight Rules of Fat Loss to Finally Get Six Pack Abs

Nearly every person you see who has an admirable body with low body fat and six pack abs… follows the fundamental principals. They could be called the “Secrets to Fat Loss” that many know about, but few often apply.

Those select few that DO apply these principles, are the one’s we envy. Just as in anything we do, there are fundamentals that HAVE to be in place to accomplish a goal.

For instance, in basketball, before you can first make a goal, you have to know how to dribble the ball, then you have to be able to run while dribbling. In Football, you have to know how to hit, tackle, and block before you can even think about scoring a touchdown. In tennis, you have to be able to hit the ball back to your opponent consistently, before you’re even able to win a point.

The same goes for fat loss. There are steps, fundamental steps, that HAVE to be in place to be successful long term. Sure you can jump ahead and go on a quick fat loss program, but if these principles aren’t in place, you will fail in the long run.

So without further ado, Let’s Get To It…

1. Graze, Don’t Gorge: This may This is number one on our list for a reason. It may be one of the most daunting tasks facing our clients today. Eating smaller meals every 3-3.5 hours INCREASES your metabolism as opposed to eating only a few large meals per day. Your body can only utilize a certain amount of calories at a time, so the calories that aren’t store in the muscles or used for immediate energy are put right where you don’t want them, in your fat cells.

2. Eat Protein With EVERY Meal: This goes hand in hand with number one and is equally important. Protein is used to build muscle. Muscle is where fat is burned. Without proper amounts of protein, you may lose weight but you’ll end up being a smaller version of your old self. Meaning that the pounds will come off in the form of muscle as well as fat and water weight. This can result in sagging skin.

3. Muscle the fat away: An extension of number 2. As stated muscle is where fat is burned, and each pound of muscle burns approximately 30-50 calories per day. If the amount of muscle mass is increased by a mere one pound, approximately 210-350 additional calories will be burnt per week!

4. Aerobic Exercise Timing: Aerobic exercise, when the goal is to burn fat, is best done AFTER a weight training session. When it’s performed before weight training, your body will spend up all the fuel it prefers, glycogen (stored carbohydrates), for weight training, leaving only amino acids and protein to fuel your muscles. The use of amino acids and protein for fuel during weight training slows your metabolism to a crawl, ultimately making your body really good at storing fat. On the other hand if you do aerobic exercise after weight training, oxygen and FAT will likely be the only sources left to be used!

5. Fill Up Tank: Would you begin a road trip to Florida with ¼ of a tank of gas? My guess is no. So why would you start your day off with a near empty stomach? On average, a person sleeps 6-8 hours per night and unless they eat in their sleep, there won’t be any refueling. Studies show that eating breakfast increases the metabolism, thus increasing the amount of calories a person can burn on a daily basis. Not to mention productivity is much higher in those that eat breakfast on a regular basis. Want a natural fat burner? Eat Breakfast.

6. In With Carbs: What?! You gotta be kidding me? Are you telling me to eat the stuff that makes us fat?!?! Contrary to popular belief, Carbohydrates don’t make us fat, especially if consumed immediately after your workout. Since your glycogen stores are low, eating 30-40 grams of carbs right after your workout will be used for replenishment and help maintain fat melting lean muscle mass to keep your metabolism in OVERDRIVE.

7. Ask for 2nds, Water That Is: Our bodies are made up of primarily water, and if we don’t get enough our bodies hang on to every ounce contained in the foods we consume. A little known fact: Hunger is often mistaken for dehydration. So the next time you feel a hunger pang, opt for water FIRST! The more water you drink, the better you’ll feel and the less you’ll retain. The result? You’ll drain your body of excess water weight.

8. The Wonder Years, Slow Cardio: The age old 45 minutes on the treadmill in your target heart rate zone is all but dead. It’s certainly still effective, but not nearly as effective as interval training. If you can’t (because of injury or some other reason) perform interval training, stick to what you know best, slow cardio. However, if you’re body can handle intervals, it will help shed fat off you like nothing you’ve ever seen. Here’s how to do it:

Minute 1-5: Warm up at a moderate intensity

Minute 6-10: 20 second sprint followed by 10 second jog. Alternating for 5 minutes straight.

Minute 11-15: Cool down at low to moderate intensity

That’s it, 15 minutes and you’re done. Interval training can be performed on a treadmill, in the park, on a bicycle or even on a cross trainer and studies show that the 5 minute ‘rev’ in intensity spikes fat burning capability for the next 24 hours!

Six Pack Abs Expert Exposes the Popular Excuses for not Exercising Regularly

People will always have their reasons and excuses to why they shouldn’t start a daily exercise regimen. People tend to give themselves barriers that they think they can’t get through which lead to the excuses for why they can’t do it. You might be one of the large amounts of people who fit into this category. However, these roadblocks may be easier to cross then you might think.

Here are some reasons some people give in regards to exercising:

-“I just don’t have time due to work, school, housework, or family commitments”

-“It’s too cold out

-“It’s too hot out”

-“I can’t afford to join a gym”

-“There aren’t any gyms nearby”

-“I might get hurt”

-“Why should I exercise, I’m not an athlete”

I believe I have covered a good amount of excuses people use. Once these excuses are said, they are set as roadblocks. Once an excuse is given the person may not even think about exercising until they are asked about it again. This is not healthy. No one should set barriers for themselves. We have to be motivated to believe that we can do anything and make anything possible. The people who make these excuses time after time are simply lacking the ‘why’ and the strong desire to want it.

Many of these people think that you need to join a gym to exercise. This is wrong; some of the most effective exercises are done outside of a gym. If you can’t afford to join a gym, then work out in a park. It’s free, no membership required.

If you think that you might get hurt while exercising, just do plenty of research before performing the exercise to make sure you are doing it correctly. Or have someone with some working out knowledge assist you.

Also, some people think that exercising is such a big deal. These people may not know that many exercises are performed daily in the home. These consist of walking up your stairs, walking through a mall, raking, and painting. These things aren’t really enough though especially if you aren’t doing these things everyday. But still, it’s not nearly as hard as you think to begin an exercising regimen for yourself.

For an adult, you should devote 30 minutes a day to exercising. Now if these seems hard to you, I can make it simpler. Do your exercising in 10 minute increments throughout the day.

Exercises you can do in 10 minutes can be as easy as:

-Walking up and down your home staircase holding weights

-Going for a short bike ride in your neighborhood or park

-Doing jumping jacks

-Taking a jog

-Jump roping in your yard or park

-Playing and running around outside with your kids

-When standing still or forced to sit behind a desk at work, squeeze your stomach muscles numerous times

Six Pack Abs Expert Reveals the Truth About Diet Pills

Diet pills are a big thing today. Even though they have some dangerous side effects, diet pills stay on the market because people are buying them. Everyone wants to find a “quick fix” for everything. Advertisements for al the brands of diet pills will tell you how great you can look in a matter of weeks. People need to stop and think about the ad before purchasing that kind of product. Instead though, their intense feelings of desperation shoot through them faster than common since. Some people try using diet pills before they would even think about committing themselves to an exercise routine or healthier eating. It’s all about a person’s desire for a quick fix. But lets face it, aside from the possible health hazards, if you had a choice of working on something for months before seeing some results or taking a pill everyday to see fast immediate results like they claim, what would you choose?

Many times people are fully aware of the serious possible health risks that go along with taking diet pills. For some reason the risks don’t stop them. They are determined to loose weight and want to do it the fastest way possible even if putting their life in jeopardy is involved.

Maybe you aren’t aware of the possible side effects of some diet pills. I will start off by saying that there are possible dangers that go along with any drug you take. The risks that go along with supplements used either to lose weight or gain weight are much more severe. One of the danger and the most prevalent are heart related complications. The supplements make the heart pump faster from the stimulants that are boosting your metabolism. Someone who starts taking diet pills may be unaware of a small heart condition they may already have. Or maybe they have a weak heart. This can lead to major problems. Diet pills are supplements which aren’t watched closely by the FDA. Some of the pills can contain potentially fatal substances. Don’t think that they ones you see claiming to be all natural are any better. You can have negative side effects from natural drugs too. The ingredients in natural pills also aren’t approved by the FDA.

Some pills claim to give you more energy. This claim can sometimes make you dependent on taking them, leading to overuse and having them become a habit drug.

In my opinion, the negative effects of supplements by far outweigh the positive ones and I would avoid the dangers of diet pills completely. If you are still considering buying a weight loss supplement such as a diet pill, then I recommend that you DO NOT buy your diet pills off of a commercial you saw on TV or from a magazine advertisement. Prescription diet pills are a somewhat safer way to go, but keep in mind that they too have their own side effects and possible health risks. However, when taking prescription pills, your doctor will be able to assist you with your needs and goals and be sure you are taking the proper dosage.

Six Pack Abs Expert Explains Diet Scams

Everyone knows it, you can’t avoid it. Everywhere you look you see weight loss headlines that say things such as “lose 30 lbs in 30 days” or “get fit fast with these diet pills” or lose 20 lbs while eating whatever you want.” There is one word that sums up what these types of headlines these are…..SCAMS. You should not believe an ad that tells you that you can lose weight in a short amount of time. Especially if they tell you that you don’t have to exercise. You will not get results that way. Think about it, if any of these crazy diets worked, why does the obesity in America continue to rise? In this country alone, 65% of the population is overweight.

With all the scam diets out there today, a person will probably see at least three a day. You can see them on TV, in magazines, on the internet and even on the radio. When someone sees one of these ads and is eager to lose weight fast. These ads appeal to them. They wonder if the diet they see will work for them which leads to other questions. Some people will stop at nothing to make themselves loose weight. Everyone is looking for the fastest and easiest way to do so. That is why these ad scams work so well. Of course you are going to want to know more about a diet that tells you that you can loose weight in less than 5 days or a weight loss plan that tells you you can eat whatever you want. That is definitely appealing to someone desperate. So the person will find out more and most likely do the diet or buy whatever they need to start it. It won’t be long before they will realize that the diet is not working for them. But this wont be the end, the person will more than likely just try a different scam off of an infomercial or someplace else. This can go on for years. Also, many of these diets are not even good for your body. If it was true that you could loose 10 pounds in a week then you are putting your heart at risk.

People need to realize that loosing weight isn’t easy. Nor can it be made easy with any special diet. To loose weight successfully you will have to change your routine and lifestyle. You must find an exercising program you can keep up with and most importantly you need to stick to it. You may think that trying to loose weight using an exercise program and strict eating habits will take a long time to achieve your goals. If that’s what you are thinking, stop and think about all the time, effort and money you put into trying to make those diet scams work.

Exercising to loose weight is dramatically effective over time. The diet scams you see everywhere are not effective. The next time you fall victim to being convinced that a certain diet you saw on TV will work, just remember it will not be effective and nine times out of ten you will not get the results exercising will give you.

The Truth About Cardio & Six Pack Abs

Do you cringe each time you take a look at your belly? Do you sweat it out with hours of cardio daily only to find no improvement? Are you utterly frustrated with your cardio routine? Well, if that belly fat refuses to budge even when you’re doing regular cardio you might want to read this.

Cardio activity in general refers to any activity that lets you speak while working out. Cardio implies doing low paced continuous and steady exercises for a certain period of time.

Many fitness instructors believe that 1-2 hours of cardio training daily help get that elusive six-pack. This theory is refuted by numerous health experts for several reasons. You’ll be astonished to discover that doing extra cardio can slow your metabolism rather than step it up.

Many fitness experts suggest that our bodies aren’t programmed to perform activities at a steady continuous pace. Rather, they are designed to perform activities in short intervals. An apt example of performing an activity in a short interval is running a 100 meters race. You start the race, push your body to the limit and you stop. This helps the body to recover. If you observe sprinters and other sportsmen, you’ll notice the lack of belly fat.

Rather than cardio training, interval training is advocated by health experts to work your way to six-pack abs. Cardio training strengthens the muscles beneath the belly fat. However, this is of little consolation because the muscles are buried under the fat and the bulge will still be visible.

Moreover, scientists say that excessive cardio exercises can even reduce immunity and weaken joints.

Research has proved that several hours of cardio is not going to get you that much coveted six-pack. Rather, go in for high impact intermittent workouts. You don’t have to slog for hours at the treadmill. You can get that six-pack with interval training even if your entire workout lasts only twenty minutes.

However, everybody agrees that a few minutes of cardio daily helps regulate overall body weight.
